ABOUT

​Out Of The Box is the creative space and studio of producer, engineer and mixer Mario Santana​.​ With two decades of experience​, Mario is currently a recording engineer at WFMU in Jersey City and has mixed sessions for artists such as Yo La Tengo, Sparks, Wire, Pere Ubu, Sloan and many more.

Having grown organically one piece of equipment​ at a time​, the studio aims to create and cultivate a comfortable and relaxed artistic environment. Viewing the studio as an instrument itself, Out Of The Box seeks to make the ​recording and ​engineering aspect seamless and invisible in favor of greater focus on writing, arrangement and creative production design.
